Elvia Limón is community reporter for The Dallas Morning News. She covers local news in Highland Park, University Park, Irving, Carrollton and Farmers Branch in Texas. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and grew up reading The Dallas Morning News. She has previously worked with Al Día, The Dallas Morning News’ Spanish-language counterpart and American Way, American Airlines’ in-flight magazine.
Education
Elvia recently graduated with her Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of North Texas in 2013. Elvia also attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, which has produced well-known musicians Norah Jones, Erykah Badu and Edie Brickell.
